Water
has
issued
a
city-wide
boil
water
notice
for
all
customers
of
Austin
Water.
The
notice
was
issued
as
the
utility
works
to
stabilize
the
water
treatment
system.
Whole
Foods
Market’s
flagship
store
and
headquarters
in
downtown
Austin
opened
this
morning
at
7
AM
and
within
two
hours
was
out
of
bottled
water.
According
to
one
employee
customers
were
purchasing
multiple
cases
of
the
store
brand
water
and
it
disappeared
quickly
followed
by
the
higher
priced
brands.
Historic
flood
waters
flowing
into
Austin’s
water
supply
lakes
contain
very
high
levels
of
silt
that
makes
it
challenging
for
the
water
plants
