Dark
brown
tap
water
has
been
reported
coming
out
of
the
taps
in
Compton
and
Willowbrook
in
Los
Angeles
for
the
past
10
days.
According
to
the
Sativa
Water
District
(which
supplies
water
to
1600
customers
in
the
affected
area)
the
tap
water
has
been
off-colored
as
a
result
of
flushing
out
of
pipes
“but
poses
no
threat”
to
it’s
customers.
But
customers
are
not
convinced
that
the
brown,
rust-colored
water
is
safe
to
drink
or
bathe
in.
