Carbonated bottled water sales in the US are soaring. Not since the early days of the Perrier boom in the late 1970s has the carbonated bottled water category enjoyed the kind of growing popularity as it has recently. According to the Chicago-based research firm, Mintel, the projected growth for bottled water in the next three years is 34.7% which includes a 75.1% growth for the carbonated bottled water category.
