So
where
does
the
truth
lie?
The
notion
that
bottled
water
is
having
an
impact
on
California's
drought
is
laughable,
especially
in
light
of
the
overwhelming
percentage
of
water
being
used
for
farming,
industrial
and
municipal
waste
and
a
public
who
has
relied
on
cheap
water
for
decades.
The
drought
is
real
of
course
and
who
knows;
perhaps
bottled
water
may
be
the
answer
when
cities
run
out
of
potable
water,
if
they
do.
Perhaps
bottled
water
will
one
day
be
sent
to
California
from
other
states
and
countries
to
alleviate
the
need
for
clean
drinking
water.
