preponderance
of
academic
research
reports
a
positive
association
between
socially
responsible
initiatives
and
economic
success.
For
the
bottled
water
business
that
means
that
many
companies
are
involved
in
some
type
of
charity,
either
helping
to
fund
clean
drinking
water
initiatives,
donating
money
and
time
to
a
variety
of
causes,
or
supporting
wetlands
restoration,
for
example.
But
there
are
also
companies
that
aren't
involved
in
charitable
giving.
Is
there
any
kind
of
moral
obligation
for
bottled
water
companies
to
be
more
involved?
