The
Town
of
Rotterdam
New
York
recently
experienced
a
severe
water
main
break.
That's
actually
nothing
unusual
as
there
are,
on
average,
800
water
mains
breaks
each
and
every
day
throughout
the
U.S.
Often
bottled
water
comes
to
the
rescue
but
as
you
will
see,
even
bottled
water
is
subject
to
forces
greater
than
itself.
The
Schenectady
County
Department
of
Environmental
Health
issued
a
boil
water
order
for
all
of
the
Town
of
Rotterdam
as
a
precautionary
measure
in
response
to
the,
not
one,
but
six
water
main
breaks
which
left
an
estimated
20,000
people
without
water
in
June,
2014.
