perhaps
ironic
that
the
Berkeley
Springs
International
Water
Tasting
is
located
in
West
Virginia,
which
just
happens
to
be
the
same
state
that
gained
unwanted
attention
earlier
in
2014
from
a
chemical
spill
into
a
local
water
supply.
The
water
competition
celebrates
all
water
and
its
inherent
purity,
yet
300,000
people
in
the
Charleston
area
could
not
drink
their
own
water
for
weeks.
All
the
more
reason
to
celebrate
the
waters,
both
municipal
and
bottled,
who
won
gold
medals
at
the
24th
iteration
of
the
event.
