Washington
is
not
a
small
town.
But
Frederickson,
a
mere
30
miles
south
of
Tacoma,
both
located
in
Pierce
County,
is
home
to
just
about
20,000
people.
And
it
is
here
that
Tacoma
residents
will
begin
to
understand
the
power
of
bottled
water.
The
Tacoma
City
Council
approved
a
contract
between
Tacoma
Water
and
Niagara
Bottling,
LLC,
based
in
California,
that
plans
to
start
construction
on
a
$50-million
bottling
plant
in
Frederickson.
Niagara
has
targeted
April
2014
to
open
its
nearly
312,000-square
foot
plant
that
will
reside
on
18
acres
of
land
in
an
industrial
park.
