Breaking Habits: Water Mains and Bottled Water

Each and every day in the U.S. between 700 and 850 water main breaks occur in communities large and small. That equates to at least 14 water main ruptures for each state in the Union each day. The total annual repair cost is over $3 billion. This doesn't include the high costs of emergency equipment, depleted water supply, traffic disruptions, and lost work time. And bottled water is there to provide safe, clean drinking water in the interim.
