Hi Ernie,
First congratulations on finding someone interested in your water. Especially in the current economic conditions. Nestle is dumping a number of their third party sources out in California because growth has slowed. So you are lucky to find a buyer in this current economic environment. Here are some suggestions regarding the deal:
$0.012 cents per gallon could be OK by really depends on the volume. Are we talking 100,000 gallons per month, a million gallons per month or more? Are they going to pull the permits, build the collection station and maintain it or are you? Will the buyer require exclusive rights to your water or can you sell to others? Are you getting deposit money on the agreement since you'll be waiting a year or more before the cash starts to flow?
Good luck,
Steven
